The K.I.C.K. is a relatively maintenance-free machine. Once it is plugged in and turned on it basically takes care of itself. It can restart itself in the event of a power failure or any kind of software event. Given network access, the unit is even capable of communicating back to us directly, however it is not necessary for the unit to function. The only thing you need to do is make sure that the touch screen stays clean with the use of any sanitary hand wipe or glass cleaner. The hardware we use to build the units is covered by the various manufacturer's warranties. If something breaks, you call us, and we will come troubleshoot and repair it. It's that simple. We offer a year of extended coverage (past the original manufacturer's warranties) for an extra fee per unit.
