Use Data

Built into our software is a subroutine which counts the number of uses the machine gets. It does this by calculating the number of touches it receives and dividing by its idle time. The six newest units installed at UPMC received over 5 million touches in the span of two months between them. This not only speaks to the popularity of the units among the children, but also to their durability. Given network access, the units can report this use data straight to us, and can also let us know if there is any sort of problem.
