No, Electric Owl Studios does not produce its own content. EOS is leased by 3rd party production companies/studios (Netflix, Apple, Amazon, Warner Bros, NBC Universal, Sony, Disney, Paramount, etc.) as a home base for the filming of their productions.
A purpose-built studio has been constructed, brand new, from the ground up. It is not a conversion of existing warehouses. Purpose-built sound stages are sound-proof, have a full clear span (no columns in the middle of the stage floors) and have tall ceilings in the range of 30’-50’ high. These factors allow a film or TV production to construct large sets and film in the stage spaces with no physical or sound barriers to compromise their creative and technical needs.
We aim to be a good neighbor and to create a positive impact in the community with our internship program, consistent community outreach, sponsorships and donations to local film & TV and environmental organizations.
